Quartz Countertops & Surfaces

Why Choose Quartz?

Quartz is a man-made, engineered stone that serves as a great alternative to natural stones like granite. It is crafted by combining ground, natural quartz with resins, polymers, and pigments to help add color and stability. Although quartz is manufactured, many options offer a very similar appearance to natural, higher-end options. Quartz counters are a great choice for many homeowners to use in kitchens and bathrooms as they are considered to be highly maintenance-free.

However, unlike granite, it can only be used indoors and is unable to withstand the heat around traditional, wood-burning fireplaces.

At GQ Tops, visualizing your new quartz countertop is easy. We offer a large selection of full-slab quartz in-stock so you can find the surface that fits your design vision. Call or visit our showroom today.

Our available program colors

When you purchase one of our program color quartz surfaces, you only pay for the square footage you need – not a full slab. At GQ Tops, we offer a wide variety of program colors. Pictured below are just some of the program colors we have to offer.

Maintaining Your Quartz Surfaces

Keeping your quartz counters looking great can be quite simple. It does not require any regular sealing in order to maintain its stain-fighting and bacteria-resisting capabilities. On a daily basis, fresh spills should be cleaned using dish soap and a soft cloth. If a spill has been left to dry, staining can be removed using a glass or surface cleaner and nonabrasive sponge. Other messes that harden as they dry, such as food or nail polish, can be removed by gently scraping the surface with a plastic putty knife. In order to preserve the integrity and appeal of your quartz surface, avoid abrasive cleansers and materials, and be sure to always safeguard against heat damage by utilizing potholders, trivets, and cutting boards.
