1.
Choosing The Perfect Stone Design

GQ Tops’ showroom features full slab viewing! When most showrooms ask you to make selections from a small sample piece, full slab viewing showcases the full effect, movement and beauty of each piece. We highly recommend that you bring a sketch, and any samples for cabinetry, paint color, etc., to our showroom. Our staff will suggest ideas based on your needs and color scheme, to assist you in selecting the perfect stone, as there are hundreds of styles and colors to choose from.

Kitchen counters usually require sturdy materials that can tolerate heavy wear, hot pots, etc. Marble, travertine, onyx and slate are suitable for a variety of surfaces including table tops, fireplace mantles, flooring and more. We can guide you through your project for the best material selection.

Placing an Order

Once your selection has been made, we require a 50% deposit to create the sales contract. We accept Visa or Mastercard credit cards, cash or personal checks. At this time the following steps must be completed to move forward with our next step, the on-site measure:

  • Cabinets need to be installed.
  • All of the appliances in the kitchen need to be on location. That includes the stove, dishwasher, fridge etc.
  • Owner-supplied sinks need to be on location so that we may take it as a template for the sink cutout.
  • If a Farmhouse sink has been selected, it must be installed by a plumber prior to the on-site measure.

Once the above requirements are satisfied, we can set a date for the on-site measure. Our staff will work with you to ensure all specs and technical details are taken into consideration.

3.
Installation

The home owner must be present during installation. At this time the counter will be installed and faucet holes will be drilled on site. We will attach the sink, and mount the dishwasher, but final hook up must be completed 24 hours later by a licensed plumber. GQ Tops does not perform plumbing, electric or carpentry work.
